Creating Archive Policies

  1. Login to Igneous
  2. Select the Policies link from the left-hand menu

  3. Click on the Create Policy button

  4. Select the Archive option
  5. Adjust the Archival retention duration

  6. If you have replication enabled, you can add replication to a backup policy by clicking the orange + symbol to the right of the policy options
  7. To add your cloud replication target, select + Add cloud target from the replication drop down menu

  8. Select your public cloud provider, and input the credentials created on your cloud account to give Igneous access. Please refer to the Getting Started section on creating the various public cloud provider accounts.
  9. Once you have selected your cloud account, select the desired tier and region if applicable, for your replicated data from the drop down

  10. Give the policy a custom name if desired or leave the automatically chosen name and click Save to complete
  11. To cancel creating the policy click the X in the top right of the screen or click Cancel at the bottom of the screen
